When did you submit your passport? Mine is still being processed in delhi

I submitted at VFS Chennai on 14th August. It is being processed in Delhi as per the website.

Oh. Ya this answers my question. I got an sms last week saying that it has been forwarded to the VO. And when I checked online last week, it was mentioned that the passport has been forwarded. I checked yesterday and it has changed to "it is being processed in delhi"

Does anybody know if I will get an sms notification from VFS once my passport reaches the visa office? I submitted my passport last Monday and opted for sms alert, till now haven't got anything. I checked online and it says my application is being processed in new Delhi. Can I assume it has...

It seems all applications from south india will get sent to Bangalore. Since i sent my passport for stamping and not the visa application, it has been sent to New delhi. The VFS person i spoke to told me to ignore the SMS as its an automated message sent to all people applying from south india...

I got an email half an hour after the SMS saying that it has been forwarded to new Delhi. Have no idea what's happening. Will call vfs and find out

Now since I know it has been forwarded to the bangalore visa office instead of new Delhi office, it's giving me anxiety. Ignorance is bliss my friend :D

My consultant told me to take all my passports. I handed them over and the person at the counter took everything. Obviously the person will stamp only the current passport but I guess by the looks of it people do drop in multiple passports otherwise I am pretty sure I would have been told to...

The passport submission at VFS was very straight forward. I went in, submitted my passports and came out in 15 minutes. Thanks, yes I am planning to get their sms notification. And there is no way for your visa getting rejected after getting PPR right? There are no changes in my conditions/circumstances

Oh ok. Out of the 4, 2 has a few stamps and one of them has a new zealand PR which I didn't take up when I was 11 or 12 years old. Hope that doesn't have any effect

I am confused as my consultant told I have to submit all my passports.

I have 4 passports, am I supposed to handover only my current passport or all the 4?
