I suggest you contact them first via e-mail and ask them about the status first.

Oh really...what is your time line? can you share what they asked? Good to know they are doing work!

You could refill the form and send it via web form. You can say "Not employed" during that time. When you send in the updated form you could mention you forgot to account for that time period. We are only human :)

This depends on what notes the initial case officer in Mississauga has put in your file. The case office in NDVO will pick it up and proceed. Generally here they will check your medicals....request remedical if medicals have expired, ask for interview if required...but the longest part here is...

You can and it will not affect processing time. Tourist visas these days taking way longer...less chances of approval if your sponsorship applciation is in progress

I have seen people getting it for 7-8 months...at the minimum you can expect 2-3 months.

I would suggest get it from your current company. If you can't then let it be. Don't jeopardize your situation by providing for any other company...if they check, you can get barred from applying. If your current company cannot provide letter, see if you can get a mail from your manager saying...

Supply whatever you can to strengthen your case.

Guys...seriously..calm down. Everyone is depressed and worried....making others also the same way. You are not doing yourself or others any favors by stressing out or getting depressed. It gets to me at times as well...but there is nothing you will get by getting depressed and worrying. Factor...
