The fastest way is to call CIC. You can find posts with instructions if you search the forum. Another two ways is to submit CSE (wait two weeks or more for reply) or order GCMS notes (wait a month or more).

I guess it will cause delay in processing, cause the agents probably couldn't access the system the whole day either., so I'm guessing no PPRs tomorrow :( Fingers crossed no data is lost. Cause such a long period the system is down, it may have been a hacker attack..

Find the estimates for each band score - the ones that the examiners use to estimate your writing. They are available online and those are pretty precise. Look at band 7 and 8 and try to improve your score by referring to these estimates.

After my first ghost update, I called CIC and figured that the update meant that my eligibility and criminality were set to passed. I guess the same may have happened to you. Congrats! :)

If you open your statuses page and there is no change then yes, it is a ghost update :) Seems like a lot of us received ghost updates this week! Wishing for PPR rain the coming one! :rolleyes:

I just realized I have a situation identical to yours.. Got update two weeks ago, called CIC, they said my eligibility is passed and some security checks r still going on. And yesterday I got another ghost update . Are you planning to call CIC about the second update or have you already?
