it has always been like that. And the amount of 600+ candidates (both job offers and PNP) has always been relatively low, and now OINP is suspended too. The govt official in that video said that they are also processing the remaining candidates from before the EE times... My personal opinion is...

you have already posted it above ;) Actually, I'm not sure I understand your idea. Pretty much everyone with any basic score gets admitted once they get the job offer and thus +600 points. Therefore I'm inclined to believe that what they meant is that the minimum scores will drop lower. Not sure...

yes, this guy confirmed my thoughts that those who get drawn from the pool at this point are people with PhD, speaking both English and French and with Canadian Experience. However he also said that by October they'll be drawing 2000-2500 people and the scores might drop lower than 400! However...

no one knows fro sure, I'm stuck with 474 points and try to comfort myself with the thoughts that the scores will get lower. Let's hope that they still need skilled migrants even in the wake of a crisis.
