You are talking about 2015 ? Is that correct or is it 2016 ? Coz I had one of my colleagues who got the same and he paid the balance of the fee and he already has become Canadian Citizen long ago.

Does CBSA provide you with such information ? If so that would be the best way to calculate your days and even attach it with your application so no chances are left with citizenship officers.

I applied in Oct 2015, received letter in Feb 2015 with few concerns, which I addressed and within 2 weeks got nominated which I accepted after few days.

It does not matter unless CIC has specifically asked you to bring your valid home country passport for oath ceremony.
