I say go for it. You have a good amount of time left even considering currrent processing times. If it gets closer, you can always show proof of journey (itinerary) to expedite PP return. All the best!

USPS cannot do return service from Canada to US. Even from US to Canada they partner with Fedex and charge 62 USD which is way to higher than what Fedex charges!!
