In my opinion.... If people would stop asking and requiring notes and similar 'investigations' , the officers/clerks would do their job faster, and not concentrate on investigating. The process for citizenship is 12 months, so I'd say everything more than that is something that should be...

It will be like that, as in most cases, until they send you the COPR back and close the application in my cic.

I just want to share my timelines... CEC Inland Dec 2014 finally the 1y passed and sent all the docs to Ottawa, and after 1,2 months ppl started receiving the docs back, due to cap reached. Received ours back end of Jan. Made EE profile on Jan 01, eligible for FSW and CEC. First ITA issued...

Finally an update... My app got closed on my cic today, and now I saw the tracker has activated. it should be here by Friday..

they received my copies on Dec 01. which is even worse, cuz for copies it takes usually less then for passports.... this is really really annoying......

I have ECAS visible now, I had 4 lines, now I have only 2. And also I can see only my latest application while I could see both the last refused one with DM and the current one with In progress.....
