Sounds like it is a different letter if you have dependents. Someone else could probably answer your question.

All it says in the landing letter about validity of passports is "In order to grant you permanent residence, you must provide us with satisfactory original identity documents. All applicants must provide their original valid passports at the landing interview" Cheers

For people doing their medical exam in Ottawa, Dr. Max Della is great and they charge 210 for everything (X-ray, blood test, picture etc). I did mine today since CIC requested it on June 9th. I called rest of the authorized physicians in Ottawa and they were asking 250 plus. Hope this helps.

Good points were made by 9symmerty in the post above. Reapplying for OWP or taking agent's words will not help. I would try and apply for extension. Looking at the 2015 inland timeline, it seems like there's no particular order to when they decide to work on an application. I hope you get out of...
