I c I did call the IRCC and the agent told me that background is in progress and Security Not yet initiated. As per the children's education, the choice is yours, but I will advise you to be optimistic.

First I will advise you to relax, your file is OK. The processing time for outland applicants is usually longer than that of inland applicants. Secondly, it is a known fact that having dependent(s) also adds to the delay. I would have recommended you apply for GCMS Note if you were inland, but...

It's hard to tell the outcome of any application, but I will recommend you stay positive as long as all your documents are genuine, you have nothing to worry about. Often times IRCC contracts the verification of documents submitted by applicants that are not within Canada to a third party...
