ECAS update is very random. I have seen people getting their status changed with in a week also. Give it a week and see if you do receive your approval, else please call CIC and talk to agent.

Yes, I see your point. The problem is what if we miss to receive PPR by email. I have n't received sponsorship approval via email and the agent says she can't resend at any cost. If we do case enquiry it will cost atleast 30 days to see a reply. I am assuming that ND office do request PPR...

Just a question ! If that is the case, can we just send our Passport with a cover letter after 2-3 weeks of sponsorship approval without waiting for PPR ?

Zearus, Is it a problem if the state is missing in the addresss as on ECAS ? Even I don't see state information there .

You get your filenumber with your sponsorship approval. So, you can start checking your sponsored spouse application status on ECAS rightaway.
