I received a call earlier and saw it was from an overseas number. My heart started racing thinking it's the CIC or my bank calling to say that a charge is pending on my card. Only to my disappointment it was my boss calling from overseas. :P

They shouldn't because the program opened on May 4th and they stated that they would start accepting applications after that date. If there was any major issue with the forms they would of released a statement to the public after May 17th that the form was updated again and that applicants...

I would give it 6-8 weeks the least from the opening of the FSWP. It's all a guessing game now. We just have to be patient and have faith!

Maybe Spillover meant that the charge to his/her cc card was the courier charge? The "yahooo!" statement was probably that the application package got finally delivered.

Every time I see a post from Marta, my heart races thinking that she posted that her cc got charged or she heard something from the CIC! :P

There wasn't a problem. That's the procedure they take when it comes out of Mirabel. They wait till they have a certain amount of packages and then send them across to Sydney, Nova Scotia.
