Travel outside of Canada while awaiting PR

Which PR application did you apply for? Do you have proof of your visa application? Emails, receipts, letters? That will help.

    *JUNE 2019* INLAND Spousal Sponsorship

Yes, he can continue to work. Providing he applied for the OWP before his IEC ran out then he’s on implied status and the conditions remain exactly the same. The SIN number will just carry on as normal until he lands and a new one will be generated.

    *JUNE 2019* INLAND Spousal Sponsorship

Nope, nothing. And I have tried repeatedly as well. Seems like there has been a huge delay after the April applicants as the OWP's are getting progressively slower and slower.

****MAY 2019 Inland Spousal PR + OWP****

There are a lot of people that haven’t sent the checklist and I haven’t seen one person say that theirs was returned. From what I understand the documents you included with your PR will be used for your OWP. This is a pilot project so there is still some confusion around it. I applied in June...

    JULY 2019 *Inland* Spousal Sponsorship

Waiting is the only option you have once everything is sent my friend. I wouldn't be too concerned about everyone else' AOR. Different times for different applications is all that is. Yeah you will get an email with the AOR.

    JULY 2019 *Inland* Spousal Sponsorship

I wouldn't be concerned at all. Mine took 7 weeks to come through! You've got plenty of time to receive yours yet, especially as IRCC are getting busier and busier leading to longer processing times it seems. Relax and be patient ;-)

****August 2019 - Inland Spousal PR + OWP****

I sent everything needed for my PR and included the OWP application, but I am not 100% sure that I included the extra OWP checklist and extra photocopies that are needed.

    *JUNE 2019* INLAND Spousal Sponsorship

Yes we get a separate application number and from what I understand we just have to wait for the OWP to be sent to us.

****August 2019 - Inland Spousal PR + OWP****

Yeah for sure. I sent my application in June and received AOR end of July, yet still I have heard nothing back from the OWP but then again neither has anyone else as the applications are still being processed from May. I am in exactly the same boat as you, although mine may be slightly different...

****August 2019 - Inland Spousal PR + OWP****

So I was looking at this situation yesterday and from what I understand the checklists and extra copies of everything have been missed by a lot of people who HAVE NOT had their applications returned. One person in particular was providing updates of her whole situation and she forgot the...

Sometimes they do, other times they don't. As long as one of you receives the AOR then it's OK.

    Australian PCC question

So I called IRCC because I was a little confused about the information on the website. Even though I had an Australian PCC from last year, the agent on the phone said I still needed to order a new one as it had to be within the last 6 months. I was also in the same predicament where I didn't...

They should be no more than 6 months old. I too had to get my Australian one,

    JULY 2019 *Inland* Spousal Sponsorship

If you are applying for it on paper (which you will be if you’ve sent it with you’re PR application) then it will take 3-4 months. With regards to your health insurance, it really depends on your situation but if you have an AOR that can be satisfactory enough to get a provincial health...

    JULY 2019 *Inland* Spousal Sponsorship

From what I understand the OWP is a separate application, but some people didn't receive AOR for the work permit and just received the permit in their mail.
