    Spreadsheets - Updated!

I must be blind. Who? The only ones I see in March are Hpatel4700 with New Delhi, Rozeky_ara with Manila, usewes with London, and CathandBob with London, no one who's VO is in the States.

    Spreadsheets - Updated!

Maybe I didn't look close enough, but it seems to me that those who've received PPRs have been folk with London or New Delhi VOs. "Buffalo" VOs, meaning those immigrating from the States, seem not to be making much headway timewise. Could be wrong though, just my take based on a very quick...

    Spreadsheets - Updated!

Good to see all the spreadsheets together, but I have to admit, ignorance was bliss, as without knowing where folk in January/February stood, I'd held out some hope that maybe, just maybe, we "Marchers" would receive our PRs in September or October. I just looked at January's and February's...

    Lawyer holding passport

I'd also call the passport office and ask if it's lawful for anyone to retain anyone else's passport for any reason. He may not be obligated to send it to CIC, but I'd imagine he'd be obligated to return it to you at your request. This is a unique document, it seems to me that the passport...

    Lawyer holding passport

I cannot imagine it would be legal for a lawyer to hold onto anyone's passport for any reason. He may possibly have cause to sue you for the difference, but I don't think anyone is permitted to keep someone else's passport. I'd call the bar association and lodge a complaint immediately.

    urgent need advice

The reference to the 11th hour means you should have applied long before the VR is set to expire, as in weeks ago, and not waited until the last possible moment on the last possible day. Pay your fees online as "proof" that you intend to file a PR application once married and submit a copy of...

    NEED HELP ASAP!

Also, as others have said, apply "Outland". You can still "visit" your husband in Canada during that time, but you're also able to leave the country without jeopardizing your application. However, if you do leave Canada, it is possible you may be denied entry upon endeavouring to return prior...

    NEED HELP ASAP!

I see you started this thread twice, so as I responded in the other, I'll re-post here in case you miss it. Perhaps Manitoba offers free midwifery care to women as is the case in Ontario. Here's a link you might want to check out, it has a phone number you can call to find out if that's the...

    Ecas Question

Why am I able to check in only using my (the sponsor) information, meaning, my name and date of birth, but not my American spouse's name and date of birth? I'm able to see I've been approved to sponsor, which I knew, and that her application has been received, as has her medical. I'm just...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Hi Cgagnon, The letter we received yesterday said our file was being transferred to LA as well. Just wondered what you mean, exactly, about the file staying in Ottawa with only the visa originating from LA? Do you mean the actual processing happens in Ottawa? And also wondered where you got...
