Crossing 7 months this Friday and it makes me feel like this can easily take forever to get some decision. There seems to be zero movement on my file from June 22nd and the worst is I can do nothing about it :(

Almost exactly the same case here :))) AOR jan19. Soon will cross 7 months. Again security in progress and again military docs were requested back in june. Makes me so anxious, so, so much :///

i have called them twice, both time the same lady said the security check is in progress and to my question if there's any problem that's causing the delay, she said no, there's no problem with the application, just you have to wait for security to be finalized. so here i am waiting for more...

Good news Ashot jan! I hope your PPR comes asap. It's been well over a month since my bgc changed to in progress(( still no movement at all.

Guys, a week after crossing 6 months, I called CIC and they said security check is in process and asked to call back after Dec 12, 2016 if I don't hear from them. Obviously, this freaked me out. Now I am thinking, does it makes sense to call CIC again? I mean, do you think it's possible to get...

Yes, they did tell me to contact them again if I don't hear from them until Dec 12th, actually. Although, I hope it's not gonna take that long. [otherwise i'd lose my mind completely :D ]

Should be Moscow. But I believe the file is handled in Ottawa, otherwise they wouldn't be able to answer my questions.

Just an update. I called CIC right now and got through like immediately without even any wait time. Th lady was very polite and willing to answer my questions, though the only thing she was able to tell me was "criminality is passed and security check is in progress" and that if I don't hear...

I am calling +1 613 944 4000 and then 1,1,1,3,1 if I am not mistaken. But as soon as the call is transferred to CIC it says "they receive too many calls" and the call jusy drops after that. By the way did you manage to get any info though?

I am near desperate guys((( 6 months 5 days after AOR and 1 month of BGC in progress. I have been trying to call them but no way to get through the line((( This is so devastating((( Is there anyone else in the same boat? Please console me)))))
