Question to all of those who got test invite, did you see the online tracker going to "processing" from "not started" a few days prior to test invite or it went straight to show the test window? Freaking out waiting for test over here o_O thanks!

Anxiously waiting for test invite here and trying to study Discover Canada. Does anyone know how the local office gets assigned? Is it the closest one to your address? Or just the most available one at the time? I live somewhere kinda rural and was wondering where we'll end up.

I believe that in most cases Ecas will show "application received" till your background check is in progress and it will then turn to "in process" when BG check is completed and file gets sent from Sydney to local offices. That isn't always the case for everyone though which makes it confusing...
