Hi We contacted the province we were going to be in and they had more info on their site regarding foreign qualifications. We then emailed them to to ask how to get them assessed first and then the next steps before sitting the exams etc and what was required for the trade in particular...

Completely understand the annoyance and frustration of having no answer. We are in the same position, applied early Sept and still no answer! As you say either hurry up and reject it so we can move on with our lives or process the approval. I can't believe any "business" govt or not could run...

Ours apparently was applied for in Early Sept 2013 and we are still waiting for an answer :(

Sent a message to them today to follow up. Not sure exactly on official lodged date (End of July/early august I assumed) so my 25 weeks could be out but it's still a very long time! I think they might be even getting nervous it's taking this long and we might have to reconsider our options...
