How to calculate IELTS points ? My IELTS Score is Listening : 7.5 bands = 6 points Reading : 6.5 bands = 5 points Speaking : 6 bands = 4 points Writing : 6 bands = 4 points so total = 6+5+4+4 = 19 points. Is it true and correct ? or need to consider 4+4+4+4 = 16 points ??

You should Check for Federal Skilled Trade program where you will just need an offer letter to migrate. Rest of the points are easy for it if you have sufficient money to spend.

Thanks. 1 more point regarding my education. I have done Bachelor's of Engineering in Mechanical which is a 4 year full time program post secondary education. What will be its equivalency as per CANADIAN educational credentials ? How much points i can earn for the same ?

Thanks for the reply. I also thought for the same. But by opting with FSW program, is it compulsory to have an arranged employment in CANADA ? If it is not, then i guess i can meet up with requirement of 67 points based on my education , workexperience and IELTS Scores. Please comment.
