Ditto. Haven't seen family or friends in three years. I really want to be able to travel home to do that, but I have to wait. We're all in the same boat - those of us who are waiting for PPR rather than COPR. We've been patient for such a long time, hopefully won't have to much longer.

One way or another, we're all in the same boat. On the plus side, the fact that people who applied in the same month as us are getting PPR now probably means that we will all get it too soon enough. Yes, it is frustrating and heart breaking - for ALL of us who are still waiting, but at least...

Here's something interesting that I stumbled onto in my obsessive googling. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/service-standards/prov.asp Apparently, CIC has a service delivery standard that requires processing within 11 months! Hopefully that means we'll all be hearing good news soon!

It'll tell you where your file is, and what has been completed. There are also notes about what has been done on your file, and if you've failed anything, it says that too. Not perfect, but since you can't ask them directly, it's the best you can do.

So sorry you're not hearing anything... :( This waiting SUCKS, and we're all still waiting - just now we're waiting for PPR... Get GCMS notes, and send a case specific enquiry? No news is still better than "NO" news though!

Ah. I think South Korea is visa exempt. So you probably dodged that particular bullet!

Yep. If you're not from a visa exempt country, you have to get a passport request, so they can issue your visa. Then you need that and the other paperwork in order to land... So, the wait continues!

Woohoo! Now lets hope we both get PPR ASAP, and the sun shines, and there are rainbows, butterflies and choruses (chori?) of angels singing... Or at least, that's how it will feel... ;)
