well i send them other supporting documents along with the address change. in the email I got, they only mentioned about my address change noting else. I send all the documents electronically (portal) last week and got this email today.

you should calm down. there are people whos files are never touched since 2 years. Relax, we will hear something soon in shah Allah, just dont send CHC emails back and forth. It will do nothing but annoy them. rest is your choice!

I don't think so your husband has to live in Pakistan to get NIC card. My bhabhi is British and her mom dad are Irish, but she got the card in a month when they visited Pakistan. call NADRA and find out but that's what I know from our personal experience.

I just used the portal to update ://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london&_ga=1.240872771.1503633660.1359908330 I got the automatic reply in like 5 sec after submission.

We got the English translated version from NADRA, and also send them the origional; however, they send us the origionals back after file was transferred to ISD. it will not hurt if you mail them, i think!

so I applied for my husband in April 2013, got approval in May and file was transferred to Islamabad. Since we didnt recieve any email or letter from CIC stating that the file is transferred to London. Now, after reading all above posts, my questions is: only few files are transferred to London...
