Processing times have been updated! It now says 82 days (instead of the previous 84 days), working on applications received on December 11th. All the people who applied from the middle to the end of December should definitely be hearing something over the next week or so.

Princess 786 you already posted all of these questions in the December thread. You have only received AOR1 and you just have to be patienet for SA. It will come eventually.

They can ask you to resubmit forms at any point during the PR approval process. For the wait times for visa after SA you have to check the processing times for your VO abroad. I just checked and for Colombo ( your vo abroad) the processing time is currently 13 months.

If you look at the spreadsheet there were 3 people who were asked to resubmit a form. 2 of them were asked to submit a form after they received AOR and 1 person was asked to submit a form before they received AOR. Were you asked to resubmit a form? Rk19 what Visa office abroad are you applying to?

Only the sponsor receives an e-mail for SA and AOR1. Applicant receives AOR2 and any other requests from the processing VO.

Did you speak to a CIC rep and they confirmed that they received your file on December 11th? If they did this is a verbal AOR. As I mentioned to someone else there are people on the spreadsheet that received SA without receiving AOR.

Since the rep you spoke with confirmed that they received your application on December 2nd I would consider that a verbal AOR. If you look at the spreadsheet some people received SA without ever receiving AOR.

When you were able to check ecas using the receipt number did you input the name and birth date of the sponsor or the applicant?
