As cic has announced themselves that people who got their visa before 18 march will enroll in May intake and everyone else would be deferred so I don’t think they need to be updated regarding this.

I don’t think they will grant any visa in this week from now as India is on a lockdown.

It’s written in CIC website that if the total length of your studies is of 16th months and more you are eligible for a 3 year PGWP.

First of all the eligibility criteria for a pg diploma in Canada is an undergraduate degree so even if you don’t give your masters marksheets it’s not going to affect the application.

They will get an automatic deferral to sep 2020

Well yeah once you are given a study visa it will be tough to get it changed but what you can do here is that you can change your course once you reach Canada and do a 1+1 from any college you want.

In the same situation, submitted my biometric on 11th March.

I am in the same situation no update from last 16 days.

Did you get your visa ? I applied on 6th March and got biometric update on 11th after that no update is there.

My application is also SDS online. Sometimes they update your medical and biometric step by step and sometimes they update it along with your application approval so there is nothing to worry about. You will get your result soon.

wish you all the luck man, hope you get the visa. It’s been 2 weeks since I lodged my file and there is no update after biometrics which I completed on 11th. Which college and course are you gonna join?

I would say try some other country man , what I have seen till now is that Canada is very unpredictable when it comes to granting visa! They would give visa to someone with such low grades and academics and then reject someone who has a very good profile. Probably they just wanna take weak...
