It's unbelievable why it takes that long. I hope the coming of this new online system will greatly reduce processing times. CIC has moved forward in that light (from about 2 years to 6 months), so one will expect them to do same. Fingers crossed

You'll have to take IELTS again, and try to score at least band 8 which is equal to CLB 9: LRWS 8777 Also get your wife's education assessed by WES or any other approved organisation. That should help
