better be safe, just renew your passport. Its also more costly to get your passport renewed in Canada so its better to have it done there in Manila. to have your pictures done here is expensive, you have to pay for the return envelope etcetc. it takes 2 weeks to get the passport back if you do...

i think it depends on when you had your medicals done. if you had it done May then your visa is valid until May. If you're still in doubt i suggest you call CIC/CEM to be safe. then let the forum know. future readers may find it helpful.

wait 1 more week and then email them. i say its safer to send them an email coz as long as a request/ question is in writing it gives you more proof that you inquired.
