I guess they are giving generic answers to every one. I got the same response. We will have to go with the GCMS notes.

I am not sure if this is true or not...cos when I applied for GCMS notes, I came to know my file was last touched in July and see as interview waver recommended and now these guys are saying waiting for initial review. I guess they give standard answer to every one.

Hey...everyone is in the same boat. My notes also indicate the same. any thing can happen with NDVO. I have seen a applicant(dont remeber the name), after he got his notes as interview waver recommended in the next latest notes he was asked for an interview. Also they are people who had GCMS...

I too applied for 2nd GCMS on sep 20th...i dont think you will get it 2 weeks...last time it took 4 weeks for me.

relationship appears to be genuine..blah blah blah...interview waver recommended. criminal and background not started ..this was the status on July 7th...nothing after that.

congrats to people who got their passports...I guess NDVO do not want to touch Jan/Feb applications any more. Are there any Jan/Feb people left or is it only me??

yeah I explained the same, even they said NDVO usually gives a response in 48 hours. All i can do is wait wait wait...

guys... how long will an MP query take? My MP sent an email to NDVO last thursday, I called them today asking the status and they said nothing has been received from NDVO yet, and they are going to send another email today as a followup. Not sure what these guys are going.

it do not work that way, you will have to check your GCMS notes for the exact date. Example for my application medicals were done in Dec 2012, but the expiry is Feb 2014 meaning, the medicals reached NDVO in Feb 2013. So its one year the from the day NDVO received not when it was done.

k, you should get the interview date soon as they are done with the strike now. All you can do is wait for them which is not fair but no one can speed up the process..I wish you all the best.
