Yar i think its not us who can decide whether to get a refund or not. When they reject your funds. It means it will surely get back to your account in india. It happened with me too. It costed me alot.

But brother i think no one can make corrections with the rejected funds from here sitting in india. My funds were rejected too. It took around 7-8 business days for my funds to reach back to me. And then i retransmitted them.

Gic certificate can take around 5-7 business days.

You should link your paper based application to cic gckey account so that you can see the steps of processing.

You should call them and say that i am sending the scanned copy of my passport. Do update your system as per my passport. And send the confirmation mail once its done. Then you can go to you bank in india. And ask them the same to update there system as per your passport. You can't afford even...

I just checked my swift copy. There was no DOB in it.

Yar in my case there was a slight difference between address in scotia bank's system and my swift copy , so they rejected my wire payment. I sent scotia bank one scanned copy of my passport. And retransmitted the wire payment . Then it was accepted.

Actually my swift copy didn't contain my date of birth You check with your bank in india thathat date of birth in there system is as per your passport or not

If you will apply offline from delhi embassy. It will take around 35-40 days for visa approval. And online application is unpredictable. Sometimes approval comes in 10 days , sometimes in 30 -40 days . So its upto you
