I just called to be curious and they said that it's currently in transit from Sydney to Ottawa!

kk..I just wish thy were a lil more transparent. The time between AOR i though was to do all those checks but I guess not

is this really true? because I called and they told me my file is still at Sydney.

One from our list so far.. I can't wait for us to start getting those invites;)

Lol i'm clueless on all these issues:D. an educated guess would be yes but then again IRCC aren't really transparent as to what they do behind the scenes.. their mouths are shut tight. One of the more seasoned applicants might be aware;)

Oh wow! I just read in another post from February, the person have recently done the Cit test and passed but he said the officer informed him that his security clearance is yet to come through and could take up to a year from the date he applied. i pray to God these scenarios don't come my way

oh wow, that sucks. I really wish Ottawa had a much better system,Hopefully he's exaggerating and it comes soon. Any tips for the test preparation? I'm an Ottawa applicant as well

I'm really not sure.. just my own observation. I'm from Ottawa and i'm just praying I don't get any updates saying they require FP cause I'm hoping to get all this citizenship stuff out the way before I start school in September

It seems like quite a number of Calgary applicants get asked for FP a lot. My own observation based on this year so far.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family at this time of bereavement. Hopefully CIC makes an exception for your case
