I advise you need to renew passport and updated them via webform. It will not delayed any more in either cases.

Dear All, I have noticed that since Last March 2019 AR.....Ircc has not started security in most of the cases. Anybody have idea...... 1-> what is security? 2 -> Why they have not started nowadays in most of the cases? As per my knowledge normally they halt our application in background process...

Could you please post content of letter specified...."I need to pay RPRF to avoid delays or otherwise my security or medical may expire. Do so to issue visa. And also in reminder they said my passport should be valid for six months.". Ofcourse after hiding personel and important detail ...

I suggest applying for renewal and update the copy of the new passport via the webform to ircc what I did for my son's passport.
