If you had to guess, when would you say I would receive this “email and call” ?

I submitted my passport last friday and today my gckey showed that my application was approved. At the same time i got an email from VFS global that you processed application has been sent to OC. I’m a bit confused as to how I will know to collect my passport. Does this email mean anything?

I passed my medical on 21 Aug. Correct me if I’m wrong okay? I am estimating that the biometric correspondence letter will come by 27 Aug and PPR by 2 Sept. passport Returned by 9th. Is this a realistic timeline? Whats the actual timeline you guys observed?

When did your profile show that you passed medical? And after how many days did the ppr come?

I thought it took one week as well! That must be the time they they quote. It probably takes less.

So something weird happened, previously my medical status was that You dont need a medical exam we’ll let you know if this changes. This changed to we are reviewing the results of your medical exams. I didn’t give an upfront medical. What does this mean? Anyone?

Guys, Still no answer from CIC. I applied via paper application on June 21 2019. Linked on 04 July and till then no medical call. Do any of you know of anyone who received the medical call after this date? THE WAIT IS TORTURE!

That’s great news! I’m not doing so well, not a single email apart from the initial biometric acknowledgment. No update on the portal as well. I just hope they send me a positive response asap, the waiting is torture. Anything is definitely possible but after medical chances of rejection are...

Any Update? Also Did you get any sort of email at all after your submission the the VAC? I only got one email containing the Biometric receipt.
