Out of curiosity, if you were qualified to apply on 1.April 2016 in old system before c24, couldn't you have applied on 1.April 2017 under c24?

Bill C24 guys were told they can apply under 4/6 rule...

Provide applicants landed during Bill C24 ability to chose between the rules(3/5 or 4/6) Lower application fee for those who chose 4/6 rule Higher priority to those who chose 4/6 rule during processing I also wish the prime minister will be there too This is a moral obligation!

My question is about those who are stuck in RQs under both 3/4 and 4/6, would not that be great they can be given a break by retroactively applying 3/5 rule?

My view: IRCC employees are better trained processing C24 applicants, meaning faster results C24 software is stable, C6 would unstable for a few weeks

What should people, who qualify under 3/5 after it comes effect and qualify under 4/6 during the days prior, do? Wait for the stampede or beat the traffic?

Will much awaited 3/5 rule applied retroactively? Another provision of bill C6 "the revocation of intent to live in Canada" was applied retroactively.
