Processing time for restoration of work permit is 3months so I am thinking for mine to process it’ll take at least until the end of April, hopefully i will get my PR by then. If I get PR by the end of February I can withdraw my work permit application before they begin to process it

These Ghost Updates when we miss them will it stay until we login or we cannot see them after some days? My situation is still the same, I am out of status now so applied for restoration last week, If i get an update on my PR at least by the end of February I can withdraw that application

Hey i was checking the July 2019 AOR page and noticed few Sydney VO applicants getting PPRs around Christmas time in December(5months), so the reason ours getting delayed is probably because of holidays in between and we can expect updates on our files any time now

Yeah and also there is no way we can find out if our security has started or if we are still waiting in the queue I guess even the call centre agents cannot see if it is going on in the background of waiting in the queue

Yeah i called them to find out also in my notes it says Sydney primary office and ottawa secondary office. I guess it will eventually gets transferred to Ottawa towards the end before they make a decision

I totally agree that they should inform us if we are being subjected to more security checks or if our application is being delayed more than the regular processing times, atleast that’s how we will know when to expect a decision on our application

I do feel there is a discrimination especially for PR applicants with some nationality and applicants assigned to some specific Visa offices like Sydney NS. How else can we explain some of the applicants from a specific nationality being assigned to Security Screening all the time, also when 2...

Also I personally know someone who applied for his PR earlier in 2019 through CEC and got his PR in less than a month. I don’t know why this discrimination for only some files

Called CIC again today same response Security not started, Eligibility met VO Sydney. File status says 21 days remaining, not sure what is going on
