I suppose it just gets that wording because we hit the 6 month mark. Today morning, exactly 6 months since they received it, the same wording change happend for me. No ghost, update nothing so far. I wouldn't expect to here anything soon just because of this wording change...

Actually I don't see why Quebec applicants should take longer, we got the sponsor approval and eligibility passed on Québec side already mid november, the letter form MIDI stated that they've send that info also to CIC. So it's definitifly not on Québec's end thats slows down... Its on the...

Honestly I don't think it depends only on if you have an straight forward file or a complex one or a red flag, but also if the agent who's working on your file is a fast one or not, if the office is fast or not (apparently Montréal really slow, Vancouver rather busy and Winipeg super fast..)...

No, nothing for me. I check MyCIC and Ecas twice a day, no ghost update, nothing so far. I start kind of thinking that Quebec applicants could take longer with all the discussion about Quebec immigration latley. I have a OWP and work now, so I'm not really stressed with getting the PR done...

No, nothing for me so far not even a gost update. Since the useless bar has appeared there is a new paragraph underneath the ususal text (that they were processing my application blabla..) that states that I will get more information when we approach the estimated date given by the bar.

When does your passport expire? For mine it states: Temoprary resident status maintained as per R183(6). Pending FC APR. FC APR = Family Class Application for Permanent Residence

At the end of the process we will all be residing more than 6 months in Canada.. so I don't know.. I'm residing in Canda also only since a little bit more than 4 months now but no RCMP request so far.. maybe it depends on the country of origin?

I've got my OWP last week, but no RCMP request so far.. I don't think that the both applications are related!

By the way, I'm not sure that you'll get an e-mail if you haven't connect your OWP application to the myCIC online account. Cause the e-mail that I've recived a day after the approval was related to my account not specially to my OWP!

I've just received my physical OWP in the mail!!! Congratulations to all who got theirs approved these days and courage to all who are still waiting, I hope you'll got yours soon!!!

only some more hours for you guys to go!!! Hope for you guys that by the end of this week all september applicants will have their OWP approved!! I'm checking everyday my mail box to finally got it in my hands... this paper will allow me to access to so many services!!

I used "Temporary Residence (send by mail)" As I was for them still in time so they didn't tell me the exacte date only it will soon be done.. hope you'll be more lucky.. maybe it will be approved eighter way at the begining of next week!
