Hi @kukestoronto, I got my AIP since April 202, medical passed and I submitted all the documents requested for. I got to know through my MP that they started my background check in February 2022 and up till this moment no further information.

Hello everyone, checked my ecas on 18th September and was updated medical received. I called in to the automated service yesterday and one of the things the system said was "we are processing your background check". Please is this the RCMP check? And if yes please what is next step after this...

What I did when I was in that same situation was I changed the date on the form to a year ahead and wrote an explanation letter then attached it to the field where it say additional documents. I hope this helps.
