No, I actually couldn’t until I had my BC services card. They only accepted ID that had my Canadian address on it, to give me a Costco card. I don’t know if that goes for every Costco, but that was what they said here.

Yeah, my MSP coverage began around a month ago, and last week my husband told me that his extended health is covering me as well, so it gets easier! It just makes me more grateful about the things I have. And keeping my family together was the most important for me.

My backgroung check says not applicable? Im pretty sure it used to say something else there, and in that case, what does not applicable mean?

I received my OPW in the mail on friday, so about a week after approval :) went straight to Service BC and did my driving knowledge test, and now I have a learning license! So happy. Feel like my life in Canada is starting to fall into place, but I wish the PR process was a bit quicker :D

Mississauga. I hadn’t expected it to be approved for at least another two weeks, so it’s was a very nice surprise! :-D

My OWP was approved today too :-) application was recieved the 18th of January, but showed online as 11th of January. Haven’t gotten any mails or messages yet, so I’m guessing I will get one tomorrow :-) I’m so happy now! I have my OWP, I’m covered by MSP :-) so now it’s just waiting more :-)

Yeah! It’s a huge relief! Every time we thought we could send it in we realised there was something missing we did everything ourselves, refusing to pay $5000+ when our marriage is real, we’re the same age and have a baby together now it’s just a waiting game...

I’m norwegian and my husband is Canadian. In Norway I was able to apply for my PCC just by telling them I needed it for immigration purposes, no request letter from anywhere is needed.
