I was referring to the ECAS status which you say is "received application". I am sorry but what do you mean by "My status was always in process since AOR". Every one's application is technically in processing after AOR issue.

Anybody other than TJ got their passport requested ?. I think TJ was an April applicant whose application somehow ended up in May. I did my medicals on Dec 9 and paid RPRF upfront also. I would appreciate to know how long would it take for me to see the magic words from CIC.

Does anyone have any idea about how many days it would take from medical submission to RPRF on an average. I did my medicals on Dec 9 for the CEC application received on May 5. My e-cas shows medicals received.

Hi All, I am a May 2014 CEC applicant and just received the notification for medicals. I would appreciate if anyone can give me a ball park figure about how many days it would take for CIC to ask for passport once they get my medicals. Thank you again in advance.

I was told by someone that when the CIC sees that your medical was done outside of Canada for CEC, they will transfer the file from Ottawa to that country's visa office and that would take at least a month and thereby delaying the process.

My application was received on May 5th and I got my medical request today :) :) :). All the best to all of you

I was also told by my attorney that you could do that and trust me, she means business :)
