Check you ecas status. In the below link. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do

Once you complete medical test , you ecas status will be changed to medical test received. If you have already sent your schedule A, your file will be in Delhi office( you would have been notified on email on this) After which the only thing left is decision made for PA and Passport request.

I received AOR from NDVO as well after 5 days

I got an email from cic after my Sponsorship approval that my file has been transferred to NDVO. Even without me submitting a Schedule A. I later sent schedule A by webform just to make sure NDVO does not come back last minute for the form and Friday. Till date I have not received the request...

Yes, u can apply for baby's extension from inland. And if approved no border crossing business. Subject to extension.
