I called at CIC helpline number today. They said my husband's security checks are in progress. Dont know how long its gonna take. This wait seems forever!

Yeah we are in the same boat. My husband passed medicals. But we are waiting for our ppr.

Hey Just use skype and call CIC call centre yourself. It took me an hour to connect with the representative but its worth it. May be you can get a better solution for your query.

Okay. Thank you. One more thing our passports are submitted with CPC Ottawa since early june. Now whenever we get PPR mail. I assume that it is understood that we ll get our passports back along with visa stamping. Right?

Would they not have done the checks for my spouse in these past 2 months? Orherwise it would take too long. :(
