Its an optional. Does not make any difference. Duties/responsibilities are critucal and they shoukd mean intended noc code duties. Do not use same verbage grom cic site on employer letter. This is my understanding based in forum threads.

Abhi: Are you applying from India? If applying from Canada, no need of Canada PCC at all by us as per guide on CIC website. Any specific reason for submitting Canada PCC ? India PCC takes 6 weeks as per Indian Consulate in Toronto and VFS timelines.
