I don’t think this is true because I just the lmia number from employee for confirmation and it’s been 4 months and still waiting. Not all processes are the same

How long does the file number usually take until it is issued. The company I’m going to work for is in Vancouver BC. I think each case is different and location of visa office is as a factor in turn around time.
