Hi there, Were you not asked to do a second xray after 3 months? I was under the assumption that once you're required to rule out TB with the sputum tests you will also have to redo your chest xray. Was your case different? Thanks in advance!

Oh...sorry...yes, I meant the Background Check, which has gone from "processing" to "in progress". Actually, it said my application was updated...and that's the only change I noticed. Meds still under review. I don't expect that to change until next month, after I do a repeat xray.

Anna, I noticed an update in my app: It currently says "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message..." I'm still struggling to understand what it all means... :-) Any movements your side?

You'd most likely have to repeat the medicals, as the validity is for a year only. Perhaps the hospital might not put you through the sputum tests if a repeated xray is identical to the previous two. But its also possible. Good luck.

Great! Perhaps include a letter explaining why you couldn't provide the letter in the application. And attach any evidence...for example copy of an email from HR declining your request.

I used a variety of this...got it somewhere on this forum. Obviously you want to pay as much attention as possible to this letter...as mentioned above, it is rather important. Do let us know how it evolves...good luck!
