I know. That's what I was thinking too. If I can't get the card before I leave, I'll let my friend mail it back to my country to me. We did it before for visa, she mailed my passport back with the visa on it. :D

Do you remember how long after they received your mail then you can check your application status online? And how long it took for the application from in progress to decision made? They received my package last week Wednesday and up till now I still can't track it. Thanks I plan to travel back...

Normally they would book oath for you after 2 weeks from the most recent updates and the schedule will be one month after usually.

Just called IRCC to ask when my background check was started and he wasn't able to tell me, he said he only could see that security is in progress. :) The rest hasn't started, waiting on the background check result.

why 2 months? People with submission date was Sep 3 already got background check clear, we should only wait for 3-4 weeks to get it cleared. But anyway, just wait whenever it comes.

More and more people are getting back boring check done. Congrats. Our turn is coming.

Someone submitted his application on Aug 27 and got background completed on Dec 31, then I think our Sep applicants can really have some movement this month. Anyone applied at early Sep that got background check stuck in this group? Any updates for that? I applied on Sep 24, hoping to hear...
