I read from another group that people with aor December start to receive ppr now, so I guess we have to wait another 3 months.

I called them again today and they told me my security screening has not started yet. And my application is in Edmonton now. Is this visa office processing applications slower than others?

I read somewhere that we only will receive PPR email and a ghost update (may or may not) our online account but nothing will be changed until the final decision is made. Even when you already pass the eligibility review, it will still show “reviewing” in the online account, like mine now.

I didn’t I forgot. Should I obtain that information?

But I think I asked it wrong, I should’ve asked for security review not background check, don’t know whether the guy on the phone understand me right. But I got the eligibility and criminality passed is for sure right.

I called them just now. Got to know that my eligibility is recommended pass and criminality is passed but background check is still going on. Don’t know how long more I have to wait. I guessed because I kept travelling back and forth between China, Vietnam and Canada so they have to check more...

Which number that you call to get more details of your application processing stage? Was it ‭1 (888) 242-2100‬? How did you ask for it? I never did but I want to call them tmr to ask about my application. Some people with later AOR already got their ppr, just wonder why I didn’t get it yet.

But then if the work experience, education and English test all took place in Canada, will it be faster for eligibility review?

March 8 is my AOR, but I realized 4 months was actually shorter than 18 weeks. But just want to know if everyone got changed for the estimated processing time like mine? Updated just now it got changed again to 17 weeks. Don’t know what’s going on. I guessed it’s just automatic somehow?

6:30? So then you can receive ppr email at anytime it’s not gonna be in the government office’s working hours? Then I guess I only can wait for my representative to tell me if I ever get that email.
