    Everybody Chill!

To the OP, thank you! We need to calm down, but I admit I was so stressed out earlier because of their payment system and that question 9(c) aaarrggghh, but yeah what can we do. It's really best to wait for a bit. I didn't know all these. Really all passport pages? If so, thanks for the info!

    Vancouver applicants - (C-6 10/11)

Nice! Thanks for this thread. :) Unfortunately I will have to wait for my police clearance (FBI). I'll still have to process it next week. Good luck to those who already sent their applications!

Question 9(c). does "live outside of Canada" include my 5-day trip in the US?

Thanks for your reply! Yes, that's what I thought too. I'm getting a police clearance then. I thought I'll be able to send this tomorrow. SMH. FBI clearance takes 2 months to process based on my experience. I hope it's a shorter wait this time. Oh well... Thanks again!

Payment page is down? Soooooo slow and CIC charged me twice....

They charged my card without any confirmation and email since the transaction timed out while the website was processing my payment. So I think it didn't go thru CIC, but I checked my bank and there it was an authorized transaction of $630. SMH. I called my bank and they said that it will be...

Question 9(c). does "live outside of Canada" include my 5-day trip in the US?

Hi Jamie, how about before becoming a PR, do I still need a police clearance? In those 4 years I've lived in the US for more than 183 days. I became a PR on May 30, 2014 and never been or visited Canada before. My eligibility period is from 2012-10-11 to 2017-10-11. I'll appreciate your...

For all who Landed as PR (LESS than 5 years ago)

OMG, good thing I'm not the only one. Lol. I was scratching my head since morning because I can't figure it out and was really confusing. It doesn't makes sense at all. So what I'll do is to tick "Yes" then put a separate sheet explaining why question 9c doesn't apply to me as suggested here...

    Changes on Oct 11, 2017 - Executive summary/FAQ C-6

This is great!!! I saw it on the news earlier too. Quick question though... My wife is a USC but lives in Canada and is a PR. She works in the states 3 days a week (crosses the border to work and go back home after). Does this count as days outside Canada since she goes back and forth? Thanks!

    Our Landing Experience and Observations

Well the dog is from the US as per future_canadian. Where did you get that HK idea??? He asked for the car's requirement coming from the US, so I assume he's from the states. What made you say that the officer asked for the dog's paperwork? Were you with us? Lol. As far as I know it's me, my...

    Our Landing Experience and Observations

Hi future_canadian, You'll get there soon for sure. :) You'll only need vaccination report from your vet and make sure the dog food is in its original packaging, not more than 20 kgs. They didn't ask for the dog's paperwork though, not even how much food are we bringing. Just be ready. For the...

    Our Landing Experience and Observations

Thanks! Looking at South Surrey and New Westminster areas. We found one actually, thank goodness (application is still on process though). The location is great and just a block away from the hospital, grocery store, parks and other establishments. Very close to skytrain station as well. :)
