I had the same update too about 2 weeks ago. My file is in process in Ankara visa office since Dec 1, 2017. My bgc is still in progress. I was wondering what this update means if they finally started their review or not? also if it means they don't want an interview? any ideas?

The letter they received was actually ppr letter. On January 3rd a lot of people from Ankara visa office got PPR, while ecas was not updated to DM. A lot of applicants from Ankara visa office got PPR today. These applicants applied in April to Sept. So hopefully PPR is just around the corner for the rest of us.

at what stage did you get this letter? were you at Background check or AOR2 or even before that?

if it says decision made on your ecas that means you are approved to sponsor. so about 'your action required" thing, mine says the same thing but i already uploaded my Schedule A online, but that thing is still there not changing to anything else. did you have the request to upload your schedule...

They will send you a typed letter with some highlights on your checklist.

no usually when your application is returned to you after their review, that means they checked everything and they will point out if anything is missing and that's it. Now since September they updated some forms, make sure to send them the updated forms and check everything again.

it says on the form that names should be written in native language as well, but if you miss writing it, they won't return your application because of that reason.

Just got my AOR today, application received on Sept 27. I can't view my application on Ecas, is this normal? I was able to link my application without any problems, but Ecas shows nothing.

if it contains uci# and application# then it is aor.

I wouldn't trust on what the agents say about the timeline they are working on ;) they are clearly working on the sept applicants. push them to answer your questions.
