If u live outside Canada then u cannot apply for gcms directly from IRCC.. U hav to apply from getgcms or gcmsbuddy and they will request it on your behalf..So when u register for gcms from any of these third party u hav to sign a one time consent form for gcms request allowing them to apply...

Yes u can order it yourself using your email id..But u will need details like ur application number, UCI, Applicant/ Dependents name and a signed consent form..

Yeah I did order GCMS last month..Will get it by first week of Oct..

Its already been 3.5 months and agent is telling me tat ur application was just received on June 4th..:mad:so u r too esrly to call..To add more to d pain she added tat average processing time is 6 months bt sometimes it may stretch more than tat..

I called today after a month hoping to get sm positive reply but d got to listen d same old reply..It doesnt matter how precise u r in asking questions..it completely depends on d agent how mch information they want to share..

Its working now..No new update for me..still stuck in ip1..:confused: 106 days since AOR..76 days since RPRF

I also received a same kind of response from two different agents so decided to order gcms notes.. Does gcms notes always takes more than a month or can v expect to get it within 30 days.. I ordered gcms on 29th of August..

I dnt knw if she is right about d rprf request part..My Aor is June 4th..I received rprf request on July 5th..No update after that..I called them last month and got to knw tat eligibility is recommended pass..About criminality and security, agent said its nt started yet..I was also told...

Unable to check d status using CIC account..Getting error as page unavailable..Called IRCC to check d same but agent informed that their systems are also not working due to some technical issue..Told to call back later..

Most probably yes..Rprf is requested after junior analyst reviews ur application and finds it ok for further process..So yes it is a gud sign.. But again the process has slowed down. Its been 2 months since I received Rprf request..No update after that..
