That could be good sign since ottawa processes files much faster than LVO in general.do u have relatives or acquaintances in Canada .if u do it’s always more effective for them to send an email to an MP on your behalf.

Depends.mine was NA2when I got RPRF request. It changed to IP2 on feb 27.still waiting.could u share ur timeline. U can call ircc if ur application is approved they will let u know or else ull just get generic answers

Based on ur experience how long does CPC take to finalise an application after RPRF.i called them yesterday they said that the background check is in process and the visa office is CPC -ottawa.

I got an rprf request on the 15 of feb,it’s been a month now and I called ircc today what they said is that the background check is in progress .and that eligibility is not over. It’s being processed at CPC OTTAWA. my drought is why would they ask for rprf before eligibility pass.time line is on...

Do u have access to ur online account. Gc key If yes then u will find the letter in ur account .just log in and below ur status update ull get request letter .download it.

Not to wry .some movement is better than nothing .at least they are looking at ur file.online status is of no significance. What exactly does it say ur background check.
