Deejavu, I have applied for CBP report in online ( FOIA request ) few days ago as you suggested. While applying i didn't upload any attachments like my ID/ any forms /written letter etc I just wrote under Description by saying, I Need it for Citizenship and my date of birth & Passport number...

I agree, but we always declared what we purchased and CIC officer never said anything or asked to pay tax. What i hear from my friends, even though less than 24hours & 24 hours are different slots....CIC officers some times treat same.

ramsfe, There is a limit of $50 per head for the trips less than 24hours. We usually go like 5 people, so we only buy max of $250, in this case we dont have to pay additional taxes.

i hope so ......I will apply for CBP report to make sure everything fine, if not i guess have to prove my return with Bank statements/Salary slips ..etc. Thank you for all the information ...

Dejaavu, i think I should do the same thing. I have travelled to my home country India once (for a 2weeks trip )...... Crossed border around 10 times ( All are day trips only ), I don't remember my trip dates to US. Can you please suggest what are the documents/Reports we should keep it ready...

Finally this Morning I am able to see my ECAS update ... We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 24, 2013. We started processing your application on September 16, 2013.

Application Singed with June 3rd ....but posted on June 12th through regular mail ...So dont know which date i have to consider am from Calgary ......
