I applied on July 30 (paper based) to VFS Duesseldorf, Germany and they received it on August 1. They sent me an email a few days later that they are finished processing it and that it's now being processed by the Canadian Embassy in Vienna. Hopefully I hear something from them soon. Good luck...

Hi, yeah I'm gonna apply from withing Canada in the next days, you as well? I called CIC and they said you have to send your application via mail to the canadian embassy which is responsible for your country.. anything you wanna know?
