My application was received August 5 by an initial D S whoever that is and have not heard from CIC.

Guys I just need your advice. My application was received August 5th and nothing from CIC. Should I re-submit another one or keep waiting. I called their Call Centre and was told no record of my application.

Hello Bashar4, when did you receive your email confirmation. My application was received the same day as you but to data i have not received email from CIC and my application is not returned.

Beside CIC checking for file completeness, do they perform background checks, security checks CBSA checks before they can progress your application to "In Progress"

If application is returned, the call centre agent should have the information

Guys my application was received by CIC on August 5, 2014. I have not received AOR and my ECAS is not active yet. When i called CIC yesterday, they agent could not verify whether or not my application is "in process" or returned to me. I'm now worried. Anyone in my shoes i.e first week of August?

Guys, this is petientdog someone updated my ECAS status in the spread sheet, that is not funny. For the record i have not received any ECAS updates nor have i received any AOR from CIC. Let us assume it was a mistake from someone who stayed up too late.

Has anyone from August received AOR or see ECAS in process? Please post your timeline
