    Pregnant applicant (dependent)

I don't know about that, but my wife is pregnant too, and we certainly wouldn't risk it.

    Pregnant applicant (dependent)

60-day period is not a concern to you anymore once you upload all your required documents, including deferral form. You will have complied with that requirement any way. It is just that they will hold your husband's application until you give birth and are fit for an X-ray. Once CIC receives...

    Certification from a regulating authority

Hey everyone, Has anyone residing outside Canada ever tried to get a certification from the regulating body of their occupation in Canada? There is 50 points in it. I am going to try to do just that. Turns out I need to go to Canada and sit two separate exams on two separate dates, hopefully...

    @pinkyshah: Yes, that sounds okay :) @Pippin: Thanks! :)

can self employment be counted as work experience under FSW

No problem at all. I wish you all the best. Just one more note; it is important to be able to show that the money received at the bank was for the services as sales manager. CIC agents should clearly be able to link the two. Otherwise they may not be convinced. For example, let's say Company A...

can self employment be counted as work experience under FSW

This is a link to FSW 2014 Document Checklist: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf Please bear in mind that the system has changed so the above link is not valid anymore, however, the rules for proving work experience still apply (correct me if I am wrong). Here is the...

can self employment be counted as work experience under FSW

Well, actually his status sounds more like an employee then. In that case, he will need to show payrolls and other documents that clearly indicate his occupation as a sales manager, because self-declared positions are not taken into account, as far as I know. Of course, there may be more...

can self employment be counted as work experience under FSW

Yes, given that it is related to the NOC code, self-employment counts. You will need to submit your tax certificate, bank transactions, and reference letters from your clients indicating how many hours of work was put in.

What document did you prepare for Proof of means of financial support

That's almost identical to the certificate I got from my Turkish bank last year when I was applying under FSW 2014. Banks clearly have templates and do not issue you anything customized. I do not know if there is any such template for average balance of the last 6 months. I hope there is.

Do you *have* to move to Canada right after PR is approved?

    20. After the family receive Permanent Resident Visas can only one family member come to Canada at first and the other afterwards? In each Permanent Resident Visa there is a date of its validity, you must enter Canada before the expiry of this date. As a rule it is a year after the medical...

    Success rate following ITA

It is just a bureaucratic thing though, I mean once you get your visa it means you will certainly get your PR, it just takes some time - paper work.

    Success rate following ITA

Well, as far as I remember, you get some sort of a visa (not sure if it is PR related or just a generic temporary residence or work permit), and then you get your PR card in a few months once you arrive. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Success rate following ITA

If you prove all your points and do not fail any medicals, then sure, it is 100% guaranteed you get a visa to Canada and get your PR in the first few months after your arrival. The trickiest part is to know how to prove your points. You have to put together ALL the required supporting documents...

seventh & eighth Draw in April. Expecting 400+ will get ITA

I have 406 points. But frustratingly enough, I'll turn 35 on April the 6th and will lose 5, making it 401 points. I don't expect to get ITA before July, simply because there are more and more people between points as the score goes down, and new people with possibly high scores are entering the...

Deleting from work history after getting ITA

Dear Panka79, I don't think you can change your profile after receiving ITA. That profile helped you get ITA and thus cannot possibly be changed. They will ask you to prove everything you claimed creating your EE profile, and if you cannot, I don't think they will be pleased. That's only my...

I did not get my application back yet

That is correct, but they are not issuing YOU a new test result. They are only sending it to 5 institutions/locations you designate. And CIO does not want you to do that, they want the original in your application package. I too was worried about my IELTS results and had spoken to British...
