My situation is exactly same as yours. DD date: 3-July App sent: 7-July App received: 11-July Still no news ::)

My "Proof of Funds" is in the form of a bank letter stating that so much amount is there in savings deposit in a/c no. as on today" Is it sufficient? Is this letter supposed to be original or photocopy? At some places, it is written "original", while at others, it is mentioned "photocopy".

Thanks for your reply. My only concern is for Point#2 where its says "affidavit". Is it necessary that the affidavit should be on a court/legal paper (stamp paper)? My translator gave it (don't know whether I should call it affidavit or a declaration) on his letterhead? Would it be fine?

I also faced exactly the same situation. (My affidavit was on translator's letterhead). Someone, please reply.

URGENT help needed. Will the application be rejected and packet returned if one forgot to put in the document checklist alongwith the application forms. You will agree that the document checklist, in itself, has no value as such. It contains no information. It is just a tool of convenience...
